Working in the hospitality or service industry means complying with the latest Food and Hygiene regulations. The EU Regulation 852/2004 concurs food businesses to ensure that employees who specifically deal with food get educated about food hygiene practices. Applicability
This course is valid for anyone who handles or prepares food including restaurants, bars, mobile food outlets, catering businesses, pubs, street food trader, food production factories, any other eating outlets in universities, schools etc.
Entry Requirements
As such, there are no entry requirements to take this course. However, a sound knowledge of healthy food practices will prove to be beneficial to the candidate as he progresses through the course.

On completion of the course, learners will be asked to take an assessment of 25 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and score a minimum of 70 per cent to achieve a passing grade. Once cleared, the candidates will be issued a certificate through the post the next working day. The certificate will also be available for download on the main website. The certificate does not have an expiry date; however, the candidate is advised to renew his certification every three years. This certificate can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
