Entry Level Certificate in ESOL International (Entry 2) (Classic A2)
The entry-level Certificate in ESOL International (Classic A2) is for candidates who are able to comprehend sentences and frequently used expressions which allow the parties to exchange basic information and communication about routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on common matters.
ESOL International (Classic) qualifications test the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills of Candidates whose first language is not English.
ASSESSMENT
A candidate’s competency (based on the qualification they opt for) is assessed based on four skills: Reading, Speaking, Listening, Writing or in two of those skills; speaking and writing.
The aim of these qualifications is to demonstrate a Candidate’s ability to communicate using the English language across CEFR levels A1 to B1. At this level, learners should recognize and use a wider range of phonics. They should also be able to distinguish letter patterns common in English, silent letters, Prefixes and suffixes etc.

ESOL International (Entry 2) (Classic A2)
The examination is completed under the supervision of an Invigilator, under controlled examination conditions. The Examination may be conducted with one or multiple Candidates at the same time.
All Centres are mandated to have premises that have suitable access, in line with Disability Discrimination and Diversity & Equality law and regulations and any other local laws and regulations which apply.

In the UK, standard examination results and certificates are issued within 10 working days of the receipt of a full and correct submission of the examination materials. In case of Emergency examinations conducted in the UK, results are issued within 3 working days of the receipt of a full and correct submission of the examination materials.
